Congratulations to Nieves Vasquez, who is a graduate student in the Water, Science, Policy (WSP) interdisciplinary program at UArizona. She delivered a phenomenal master’s presentation to a room of community members, friends, staff and faculty, along with 40+ online in the Zoom room. Nieves presented on relationality in science and science communication, uniquely positioned in a Dine-led engineering laboratory and nationally renowned Indigenous Resilience Center. Our center’s purpose is to train the next generation of community leaders, and the future looks bright! We are very proud of you, Nieves!
